


Julián Cabral (b. 2004, Argentina) is a documentary photographer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He focuses on long-term personal projects that seek to explore the relationship between human beings and their environment. Cabral seeks to use photography as a tool for personal healing and social transformation.
In his latest project, “Lito,” Cabral accidentally documented the last year of his uncle Carlos’s life, who suffered from schizophrenia.
Cabral’s work has received recognition and scholarships, such as a featured prize in the Ian Parry Scholarship (2022), first prize in the Documentary Photography Awards (2023). He was nominated for the Leica Oscar Barnack Awards (2023) and selected to participate in the prestigious Eddie Adams XXXVII workshop in New York (2024). His recent work “Triplets” received first prize in the “Emerging Talent” category of the Ibero-American PoyLatam Awards 2025.
He is currently working on his long-term project “Triplets” and collaborating with the Clarín newspaper.
